STOCKHOLM, 25 Nov (SW) – Rumble in the Swedish media because Linda Fagerström, player of Djurgården/Älvsjö chooses a vacation in Thailand above the semifinal match of the UEFA Women’s Cup against Turbine Potsdam.

Fagerström and her partner had planned the vacation to Thailand far before UEFA had set dates for the semifinals. Fagerström, playing in the Swedish national team was blamed for unprofessional behaviour by TV4 commentator Pontus Kåmark. Djurgården/Älvsjö understands Fagerströms decision because women’s football is till not fully professional. But the club tried to change the trip for her, in the end it didn’t fit her partners workschedule to arrange another date.
