OSLO, 22 Nov (SW) - Only four of the 10 Toppserien teams in Norway will continue with the same head coach for next season.
In Kolbotn, Aksel Bergo continues after his first successful year as head coach for the norwegian league winners. Also Team Strømmen keep their successful swedish coach, Janne Jansson.
Jan Aksel Opsahl Odden leaves his job as coach for Fløya, and takes over the newly promoted Amazon Grimstad team. Canadian international Kristina Kiss has decided to follow Odden to Grimstad. Jan Erik Bjerk, former player for Bodø/Glimt, has been hired as new coach for the Tromsø club.
In Trondheims-Ørn Trond Nordsteien leaves after being coach for 6 years, but continues as assistant coach for the women's national team. Former caption and 7 times league winner as a player, Gøril Kringen is the new head coach.
Frode Olsen, former national team goalkeeper, has left his job in Klepp after one year. Klepp also looses their two Nigerian players, Faith Ikidi and Maureen Mmadu, to the swedish team QBIK.
Despite a huge deficit and bankrupcy threats, Asker seems to keep their two coaches, danish Peer Danefeld and swedish Magnus Jansson. Asker's all-time leading goalscorer Kjersti Thun quits playing, and is the new coach for the newly relegated Liungen team.
