AMSTERDAM, Apr 10 (SW) - Guus Hiddink said Monday on a Dutch TV program that he will be taking over as the national team coach of Russia when his contract expires with Australia.

While being interviewed on "Holland Sport", Hiddink said that he will almost certainly be the head coach of Russia, with only a few minor contract details yet to be sorted out.

It will be a full-time job after Hiddink confirmed last weekend that he will be leaving Dutch champions PSV Eindhoven. Hiddink will still coach Australia at this summer's World Cup finals.

"I have been to Russia already to look at things and I already know that it will be fun to work there. They have some young players with a great future, as far as I can tell now," said Hiddink, who confirmed he will live in Amsterdam while flying back and forth to Russia.
