LEIPZIG, Jun 14 (SW) - Welcome to SoccerWay.com's live coverage of the World Cup Group H match between Spain and Ukraine.

FULL-TIME
Ukraine's nightmare is over - or only about to start? The debutants really weren't as bad as the scoreline indicates, but Spain impressed and were lethal in front of Shovkovskyi's goal.

Even through they have two matches ahead, Spain only needed ninety minutes to be very close to a place in the second round.

90th minute
Casillas leaves his goal to end an attack, but that decision was a mistake and Voronin is able to score but defender Pablo stays focused and refuses to allow the Ukranians a consolation goal.

87th minute
And Spain nearly get a fifth as Fernando Torres' through ball is only just collected by the goalkeeper before Raul could strike.

81st minute - GOAL SPAIN! (4-0)
Goal: 9 - Torres
The celebration continues for Spain, who score their fourth! Carles Puyol does most of the work in the build-up and finds Fernando Torres. The Atletico Madrid striker has no mercy and strikes for 4-0.

77th minute - Spain substitution
On: 18 - Fabregas
Off: 11 - Garcia
One Premiership player for another as Liverpool's Luis Garcia is substituted for Francesc Fabregas of Arsenal.

73rd minute
Ukraine get close as Andriy Vorobey's pass reaches Serhiy Rebrov, who could have scored but completely misses the target.

68th minute
Raul is dangerous for the first time. The 43-times goalscorer tries a header, which is blocked by the goalkeeper.

64th minute - Ukraine substitution
On: 11 - Rebrov
Off:21 - Rotan
Ukraine's last substitution as Dynamo Kyiv midfielder Serhiy Rebrov comes on for Ruslan Rotan.

61st minute
Ukraine may be beaten, but still have their pride. Voronin comes close to getting one back but his curved shot just misses the target.

55th minute - Spain substitution
On: 7 - Raul
Off: 21 - Villa
And there's Raul, to join in for the last 35 minutes. Aragonés has now replaced both goalscorers, saving their energy for the next match.

55th minute - Spain substitution
On: 6 - Albelda
Off: 14 - Xabi Alonso
The scorer of the first goal is taken off for Valencia's defensive midfielder David Albelda.

53rd minute - Ukraine booking
Booked: 5 - Yezerskyi
Vladimir Yezerskyi is booked for a foul on Fernando Torres.

48th minute - GOAL SPAIN! (3-0)
Goal: 21 - Villa (penalty)
Villa makes no mistake from eleven meters, striking into the lower left corner. The keeper touches the ball, but it's not enough. Spain score from the first penalty kick of the tournament.

47th minute - RED CARD UKRAINE
Sent off: 17 - Vashchuk
Things are getting worse and worse for Ukraine. Another controversial decision by the referee as Vladyslav Vashchuk is sent off for a foul on Fernando Torres in the penalty area. Now, Spain also have a penalty kick.

46th minute - Ukraine substitution
On: 16 - Vorobey
Off: 9 - Gusev
And a second move by Blokhin as Andriy Vorobey comes on for Gusev.

46th minute - Ukraine substitution
On: 8 - Shelayev
Off: 14 - Gusin
Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk midfielder Oleg Shelayev replaces Gusin for the second half.

HALF-TIME
It's half time at the Zentralstadion, and Spain will be the happier side with two goals in the first 17 minutes. Ukraine have a lot to worry about and need to do much better after the break.

43rd minute
Linesman Matthias Arnet of Switzerland looks shaky. In five occasions, all with Ukraine attacking, he flagged for off-side where replays showed that this wasn't the case.

41st minute
Things have really slowed down a bit in Leipzig, as Spain seem to be pretty happy with their 2-0 lead and Ukraine don't appear to have the energy to do much about it.

32nd minute
Ukraine have a chance as Andriy Gusin gets the freedom to shoot, but his strike is low and too soft, and is easily collected by Casillas.

27th minute
It's more likely that Spain score a third than for Ukraine to get one back. Another Spanish goal would definitely decide this clash.

25th minute
Spain continue to be dangerous. A pass enters the area and Ukraine's keeper only just manages to control it before a striker could reach the ball.

17th minute - GOAL SPAIN! (2-0)
Goal: 21 - Villa
The Valencia striker doubles the lead with a great free kick, which is slightly deflected by the wall and leaves the goalie without a chance. What a start for Spain!

17th minute - Ukraine booking
Booked: 6 - Rusol
Andriy Rusol is booked for a foul on Mariano Pernia.

13th minute - GOAL SPAIN! (1-0)
Goal: 14 - Xabi Alonso
Spain open the score, and it's deserved! A corner from the left side is headed home by Xabi Alonso, and shovkovskyi is beaten, 1-0.

13th minute
Spain are close as Marcos Senna, originally Brazilian, tries a distance shot and goalkeeper Shovkovskyi does well to save.

9th minute
The Ukranian defenders are being troubled as it is now Luis Garcia to break through the defense, but his strike misses the target.

5th minute
Ukraine have a free kick on the left wing, and Rotan's cross is headed over the bar by Yezerskyi.

3rd minute
The first chance is for Spain. Fernando Torres does well to get past a defender and enter the area and passes to Xavi, whose strike goes a meter wide.

Kick-off
Spain begin their World Cup campaign and will hope to finally live up to expectations at the highest stage, and Ukraine, as debutants, start what they hope to be a great first World Cup.

Pre-Game
Spain coach Luis Aragonés has made the decision of leaving striker Raul on the bench, and starts with Valencia's David Villa and Fernando Torres of Atletico de Madrid up front.

Ukraine are of course captained by their top striker Andriy Shevchenko, who recovered in time after suffering a minor injury.
