LIVERPOOL, May 19 (SW) - Striker Djibril Cisse will join French club Marseille if they make a new bid for the Liverpool player.
The 24-year-old, who is part of the French World Cup squad has scored 98 goals in 221 matches for all his clubs so far and made his feelings regarding a move away from the club known today, stating, "I would look seriously at an offer, if Marseille showed renewed interest," he added, "I have never hidden my interest in playing for Marseille".
Cisse does not know how soon any move back to his homeland would come, but was clear to express which French club's he admired, saying, "For me France has two clubs, Auxerre and Marseille who I have always dreamt about. I repeat once again, yes one day I will come and play for Marseille."
The striker has scored 9 goals in 23 international appearances and will not make any choice about his future until after the tournament in Germany, he commented, "I believe that after the World Cup, I will make a decision over my future."
