GOTHENBORG, May 25 (SW) - Sweden were held to a disappointing scoreless draw by neighbours Finland in a warm-up match ahead of the upcoming World Cup.
The Swedes, who face Trinidad & Tobago, Paraguay and England at the tournament in June, were in fact the weaker side in Gothenborg.
Coach Lars Lagerback left out star players as Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Henrik Larsson, Freddie Ljungberg and Andreas Isaksson, and his side was unable to convince without these players.
In March, Sweden were defeated 3-0 by Ireland, and the Scandinavians have only one chance left to impress ahead of the World Cup, against Chile on June 2nd.
