CLAIREFONTAINE, May 28 (SW) - Disgruntled Liverpool striker Djibril Cissé said on Sunday that he feels unwanted at Anfield Road, and sent a sharp message the way of manager Rafael Benítez.
The French international also said that while he would welcome a move to Marseille, the lure of playing for ex-Liverpool boss Gérard Houllier - who signed Cissé to the club - at Lyon is a big deal for him.
"Now I have a coach who doesn't want me. Benitez doesn't use me, so I've taken a step back," said the 24-year-old at France training as his nation prepares for the World Cup finals in two weeks' time.
The striker went on to say, "My heart leans to Marseille, but Lyon play in the Champions League and is a more stable club."
