Easy win Arsenal in Iceland against Breidablik: 0-5

KOPAVOGUR, Oct 12 (SW) - Breidablik have lost their home leg in the UEFA Women's Cup against Arsenal Ladies with 0-5. The English champions dominated eighty percent of the game. Kelly Smith and Julie Fleeting both scored two.
642 people saw the game at Kopavogsvollur in Iceland. They saw a Breidablik team that never got hold of the game. If it wasn't for Breidabliks goalkeeper Thora Helgadottir Arsenal would have won even bigger. In the first half it was Kelly Smith who took out two players in the Icelandic defence on the 31st minute. After that she scored easily. Eventhough Arsenal had scores of changes it stayed 0-1 at half time. In the second half Arsenal made more goals of their changes. First Kelly Smith scored the 0-2 from a similar situation as the 0-1. In the 70th minute it was Julie Fleeting who tipped in a cross from the right: 0-3. Lianne Anderson scored a fantastic goal ten minutes from time shooting the ball from twenty metres in the right angle of the Breidablik goal. In the dying minutes a duel between goalkeeper Helgadottir and Arsenals Julie Fleeting was decided when Helgadottir let the ball slip through her fingers and Fleeting tipped in from close range.
