The silence of the lambs. In this case the sheep. Three hours after the game's over.

newtonheath, my good old buddy, where are you? DaJohnner is looking for you. Well, it's only the first game. Nodody expects MU to win every single one of them!

Ajax72...Did they get beat? No.....so shut your big mouth.

One has to be fair to Newcastle. They played well and deserved the point.

I agree a draw is the fair result, but just wanted to point out two things: 1st-MU tied the game while NU were playing with 10 men (minus their defenceman Taylor) and 2nd, As I predicted they will suffer sans CR7

Ajax, I don't respond at the weekends as I have told you before, I do actually (believe it or not) have a life!

United were by admission very average yesterday and the Geordies deserved their point albeit Given did keep them in the match. Let’s remember one thing though! “It’s a marathon not a sprint” United really need to up the ante over the next few weeks which may be difficult with the injury’s we have. We have 7 first team regulars either injured or on Olympic duty at the moment, that’s half the team! But we still dominated the play yesterday. Last season it took us until the fourth game of the season to register our first win, the first two games we drew and then we beaten by the blue scum before finally securing three points against Spurs. Everybody said then that the wheels had come off at United, how wrong they were.

In conclusion, we were very poor yesterday but right United off at you own peril!
